Your personal concierge

Here’s Fiona, your personal concierge – or Lifestyle Manager. You’ll meet Fiona in person from the moment that you reserve your home.

From then on, she will be on hand to help you throughout all aspects of your move, regardless of how long it takes, where you are moving from, and what you are bringing with you.

Whether it’s sourcing removal companies, contacting utility providers, answering questions on the local area, arranging for your pictures to be hung – to being there on your first day, Fiona and her team will be on hand, 24 hours a day. And this will continue after you move in. For as long as you like.

The dedicated concierge is just one element of the Lifestyle Collection from Platinum Skies. We go out of our way to ensure that not only is this a prestigious service – but one that is efficient, discreet and entirely personal. It takes care of all those things in life that you don’t have time to do. Or may not want to do. You really do get your very own Lifestyle Manager – but only if you so wish.

We asked Fiona to tell us about her role… in her own words.

What is the most enjoyable part of being the Lifestyle Manager at Homefield Park?
Spending time with our customers and making sure I help them as much (or as little!) as they need. There’s a great sense of satisfaction in ensuring that everyone has what they need and are happy.

Why do you feel that it is important to incorporate a lifestyle into the purchase of a property?
To make sure that everyone who lives at Homefield Park in a Platinum Skies home has the best lifestyle opportunity – a lovely home, as well as the benefits and support of the Lifestyle Collection behind them. Of course, some of our residents may not want to take advantage of all the services provided, at first. What’s really great is that if they change their minds about this in the future, the option is always there for them.

How does having a positive lifestyle improve general wellbeing?
A general sense of contentment and feeling that everything is under control does help create a sense of wellbeing and peace. And a beautiful home in great surroundings helps too!

What, in your personal opinion, is the best aspect of the lifestyle collection?
I’d say that having the Lifestyle Manager at the end of the phone whenever required is the best aspect, with just one phone call you can organise anything – from an evening out on the town to someone to come in and do all your ironing – or and weed the garden.

Do any other over 55s retirement developments offer such personalised opportunities?
Not that I’m aware of, we have set up the Lifestyle Collection so that everyone can use what they feel they will appreciate and need more, and ignore those products which they feel are not right for them.

What do you most enjoy about working for Platinum Skies?
No working day is never the same! There’s no sense of routine – and I’m faced with many fun challenges on an hourly basis! It’s very rewarding when I see how happy our residents are with in their new homes – especially those who say that their life had changed significantly since they moved in.
